Robin Erfe's designs and creative process is founded on a love for creating beauty, protecting, and adorning the body in elegance. Her work is influenced by the various textures of nature, NYC streets, and her Caribbean and South Asian heritage.

She began as a child building little worlds and sculptures from cardboard, plastic from discarded envelopes, collecting rocks, while being mesmerized by colorful beads. Her childhood oases were the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Museum of Natural History, and Prospect Park with its winding trails and beloved carousel.

As an adult she made a leap of faith to start her education at the bench jewelers program at Studio Jewelers, Inc in NYC. Here is where she honed her skills  and fell in love with melting metal and creating precious adornments for the body. A way to forge her childhood dreams into a physical reality.

Robin focuses on handcrafted techniques, creating one of a kind pieces and limited edition collections. Her work showcases hand fabricated chains and a love for hand hammered fringe and melted metal. While her work emphasizes on the beauty of metal, she does carefully selects gems from family run stone cutters and organizations that have a deep love and care for this world.

Her studio companion is Coco, a sassy and divine creature, along with a strong brewed cup of cafe con leche, a rotating selection of salsa dura, dembow, soul, and rock n roll.  Her bench is glittered with melted and hand hammered metal waiting to become art and transform the human body.
